Reconstruction of an Oxidation Tower at a State-Owned Petrochemical Enterprise in Jiangsu Province
2026-06-18
Project Overview:
A large state-owned petrochemical enterprise in Jiangsu has implemented an industrial wastewater treatment project that integrates Zhuhong’s ultra‑micro and nano‑bubble technology. The system has been operating continuously and reliably for a full year, with the equipment maintaining high efficiency and smooth performance, thereby fully demonstrating the process’s hallmark of long‑term operational stability and reliability.
Ultrafine and nano-scale bubbles possess unique advantages—extremely small particle size, exceptionally high specific surface area, and outstanding gas–liquid mass-transfer efficiency—which significantly enhance gas utilization and enable the efficient oxidation of complex organic pollutants in petrochemical wastewater that are difficult to degrade by conventional processes. They are ideally suited to the treatment of petrochemical industrial wastewater, which is characterized by its intricate composition and high treatment challenges. Long-term on-site measurements demonstrate that all effluent quality parameters remain stable and well-controlled, with remarkably strong COD removal performance. Not only has the project successfully met its pre‑set design targets, but it has also surpassed the original 32% removal benchmark, consistently maintaining an excellent removal rate of over 45%.
The entire system is easy to operate and maintain, boasts higher gas utilization, and delivers significant long-term cost advantages. With year-round stable and reliable performance and consistently compliant wastewater treatment results, it has earned high praise from the company, firmly demonstrating the advanced capabilities and practical value of ultra‑micro and nano bubble technology across a wide range of challenging industrial wastewater treatment applications.
