Zhuhong Nano’s microbubble equipment makes its debut at the Southeast Asia Aquaculture Expo, spearheading a new wave of transformation in overseas aquaculture.

Recently, at a major aquaculture expo held in Southeast Asia, Ningbo Zhuhong Nanotechnology Co., Ltd. made a striking appearance with its innovatively developed Zhuhong® Yuanqibao® series of equipment, capturing the attention of numerous industry professionals and generating a strong response in the Southeast Asian aquaculture market. As a cutting-edge technology in the aquaculture sector, nano‑bubble equipment has ushered in new opportunities and driven transformative change for the region’s aquaculture industry.

At this expo, Zhuhong Nano showcased its Yuanqibao® equipment, which includes both surface‑mounted and submersible models, catering to a variety of aquaculture settings. Leveraging internationally advanced ultrafine nanobubble generation technology, these devices produce an abundance of microscopic bubbles—approximately 240 million per milliliter—with an average diameter of just 150 nanometers. These nanobubbles offer numerous unique advantages: their specific surface area is increased by tens of thousands of times, dramatically enhancing gas solubility in water and rapidly boosting dissolved oxygen levels, thereby providing aquaculture systems with a more ample oxygen supply. According to calculations, the equipment’s pure‑oxygen utilization rate exceeds that of competing products by more than 2.8 times, while its oxygenation speed is three times faster than that of jet aerators, making it ideally suited for farming environments with high oxygen demand and stringent dissolved‑oxygen requirements.

Nanobubbles also exhibit long-term stability in water and a slow rising rate, enabling them to penetrate all layers of the water column and ensure uniform dissolved oxygen distribution, thereby effectively improving the aquaculture water environment. Moreover, when some bubbles collapse instantaneously, they release high temperatures, high pressures, and negative ions, exerting multiple effects such as antibacterial action and water purification. These benefits help reduce the incidence of aquaculture diseases, lower antibiotic usage, and enhance the quality and safety of aquatic products.

The outstanding performance of Zhuhong Nano Yuanqi Bubble® equipment has been thoroughly validated through its practical application in numerous aquaculture projects both domestically and internationally. Previously, Zhuhong meticulously equipped a factory‑based milkfish farming project in Southeast Asia with one 2.2 kW Zhuhong® Yuanqi Bubble® land‑based unit and one 4 kW Zhuhong® Yuanqi Bubble® submersible unit. Since commissioning, the project has achieved remarkable results: dissolved oxygen levels in the culture water have risen significantly and remained consistently within an optimal range; the growth rate of the cultured species has markedly accelerated, leading to a substantial increase in yield; and water clarity has improved substantially, creating a superior growing environment for the farmed species—earning high praise from local farmers.

In Southeast Asia, aquaculture is one of the region’s key economic pillars. However, as farming scales expand and intensification deepens, traditional aquaculture practices are confronted with mounting challenges, including deteriorating water quality, frequent disease outbreaks, and low production efficiency.
