Cost Reduction and Efficiency Enhancement in Industrialized Freshwater Sea Bass Farming

2025-03-20

Project Overview: Freshwater sea bass farming is conducted in individual ponds with a water volume of 50 m³ each. The project site comprises more than 3,000 ponds, most of which employ recirculating‑water systems with pure oxygen and high‑density stocking, at a stocking density of 50 kg/m³.

Project Conclusion: The project required dissolved oxygen to reach 11 mg/L. After implementing the ultramicro‑nanobubble generation system, the effluent achieved a dissolved oxygen level of 13.8 mg/L. While meeting the customer’s dissolved oxygen specification, the ultramicro‑nanobubble system consumed only 14.28% of the energy of an oxygen cone, resulting in an 85.72% reduction in operating costs for the customer.
