To advance research on aquaculture effluent treatment and demonstrate an intensive, environmentally friendly effluent‑treatment model, the Ningbo Institute of Ocean and Fisheries, Ningbo Zhuhong Nanotechnology Co., Ltd., Ningbo Huimin Marine Ranch Technology Co., Ltd., and Ningbo Fenghua Song’ao Haoxin Aquaculture Farm have jointly agreed to collaborate in 2019 on the application and demonstration of ultrafine bubble technology for treating aquaculture effluent.
This collaboration aims to establish a mature, comprehensive, replicable, and scalable technical framework for treating aquaculture effluent, optimize pollution control and treatment processes, and, building on conventional technologies, integrate the latest and most practical treatment methods. The goal is to develop an optimal effluent‑treatment configuration that can be adapted to various aquaculture systems, thereby enhancing both treatment efficiency and effectiveness.
